TOYZ, from Burlington, NC, has been influenced by the classic rock sounds of 70's era rock super-bands like Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, AC/DC, ZZ Top and others.
Over the years, TOYZ has shared the stage with national acts such as Tesla, Ratt, Firehouse, Bret Michaels, Foghat, Mother's Finest, Molly Hatchet, The Outlaws, The Marshall Tucker Band, Georgia Satellites and more.
A full length TOYZ CD, "Deadly Temptation", released in July of 2008, was recorded by Thomas Johnson (Porno for Pyros, Rancid) and mastered by Dave Collins (Bon Jovi, Motley Crue, Soundgarden). The CD is available for sale at TOYZ performances and will also be available for digital download through iTunes, Amazon MP3, Napster, Groupie Tunes, and at toyzband.com.
The band has honed its musical skills playing original music and tribute-like performances of some of today's most popular classic rock songs.
TOYZ is the house band for The Broken Spoke Saloon in Sturgis, South Dakota during the annual bike week and is currently performing at nightclubs and motorcycle rallies throughout the country.
